Try the brand below my cats love it and entirely organic& never affected by the pet food recall. The cost is simular to the food you are feed now.

it probably tastes like shit and he has found a new home to go eat at or he feeds himself ( killing animals and stuf) because he thinks u r rejecting him
They sell actual bottles of sauce for pets that you pour over the wet food to make it more appealing. try to find a brand for food and stick with it changing foods over and over will make them finicky and cause them to not eat at all.
how old is your cat. if it’s old then she/he probably has her / his fav. but if it’s a kitten, then they are trying to figure out what’s good and what’s bad.
sometimes the el cheapo stuff they like best
I’m sure you can relate. If you lived on McDonalds all your life and then suddenly were restricted to home cooked meals you might not want to eat either!
Change the food out slowly – mixing a little new in with the old, gradually increasing the amount of new food into the old until it’s mostly new food, little old. Then you just cut the old food out.
The only decision evident to me in your situation is that your cat is gravely ill. It is important you get him to a local pet hospital so that he can get looked at. Often times to treat appetite issues in dogs and cats they inject a tube of pure bull fat. This increases the white blood cell count threefold, therefore increasing your cat’s appetite. It only costs a nominal fee and you should be out of there in no time with a healthy, happy cat!
I like to feed my kitties healthy also, and they always prefer the cheap stuff as well! It’s their junk food I think. Anyway, one that I have found that they like is the Royal Canin brand. It is a high quality cat food, much better than Friskies and such. They seem to really enjoy the taste as opposed to other high quality foods, and they even have a special one for picky eaters.
Switching foods can be a chore, but it’s worthwhile. You’re doing the right thing, and you have made some good choices!
But perhaps you need to go back to the drawing board and try some other brands of food. It can be a waste of money but it’s quite worth it!
Also, you should introduce new foods slowly. Mix some of the new with some of the old, and gradually increase the new and decrease the old. That way, your cat’s digestive system has time to get used to the new food, plus he gets used to the taste and gradually accepts it.
EDIT: I want to add that you should definitely go back to feeding the old food so that your cat is eating something. Then start again gradually introducing the new foods.
It can be fatal for cats to go too long without eating. They can suffer from something called hepatic lipidosis (fatty liver). So for now, give in and give your cat the crappy food he prefers, just so he’s got something in his stomach. But keep trying to get him to switch.
