Are pet dogs (not guide dogs) allowed in taxis and/or other public transport in Chicago?

I am not sure about buses, but I have seen dogs on the el. I guess it depends on the size of the dog. As for cabs, I would ask the cabbie.

bicycle dog carrier 7kg+?

Question by ♥ Raw Pugs ♥: bicycle dog carrier 7kg+?
The weather is getting warmer so ill want to get out more, however such warm weather isnt great for a Pug to be overly physical in.. So im looking for Pet carrier that goes on the front of a bicycle and can hold dogs 7kg and over.. Ive looked all over Ebay and cant find one for such weight at all… Anyone else go cycling with their dogs? What do you use? My Pug is 6.5kg (Only 9 months, im sure hell grow more)

Maybe try using one of those carts that attaches to the back of the bike. People use them for their kids and you can zip them up inside and they can see out and move around but be totally safe. It’s like a little bike trailer and there’s no weight limit. Having him/her there will probably be safer than on the front just because dogs can jump out and still be attached by their leash on the front, that would be a scary scenerio. Good luck with your search and I hope this helped!

I am taking a road trip with two large dogs?

Question by Hailey arrived June 7 2011: I am taking a road trip with two large dogs?
is it possible to fit two large pet taxis (the crates for dogs) in the back seat of my four door dodge stratus? I realize my care isn’t huge or anything, I was just wondering if two of those could fit in there. Also does anyone have any tips for traveling with large dogs? Its roughly a 24 hour drive from Texas to Virginia.
