Question by sweet333: Where can I purchase a nice pet carrier for my kitten?
I am taking her on an airplane-we’re flying Southwest-and I’m not sure where I can find the right size carrier. It must be these dimensions:
* Window Seat: 19″L x 14″W x 8.25″H
* Middle Seat: 19″L x 19″W x 8.25″H
* Aisle Seat: 19″L x 14″W x 8.25″H

Petco or Petsmart is the best place I’ve always found pet carriers. If you’re looking for something cheaper you might be able to find something in the newspaper or on Craigslist

Question by Mags: I need an idea to get people to donate to my Animal Shelter I’m raising things for?
I need to get people in my community to give dog/cat food and old pet carriers/cages and stuff like that. I want to get an idea but i can’t think of one that would get the most to the shelter…

You should go to a place like Pet Smart, where people go to buy supplies for their pets. Everyone going in that store likely has pets they love and would be sympathetic to your cause. Stand out front with a flyer explaining your project and hand it to them when they are on their way in. They will likely emerge with a bag of dog/cat food for you.
You could state in your flyer that you are looking for donations for the other items and leave a line for them to write in their phone number if they want to donate any of those items. You may get a handful of flyers with phone numbers for donations. You can then call them and arrange for pick-up.
Worth a shot! (Good luck)

Question by : Attached/Double pet carriers?
My family and I are moving to Europe from the States. The trip will be probaby 15 hours and I have two dogs that will travel in the hold area. They are too big to be in the same carrier together but I was wondering if anyone knows of any carriers that can be attached together so that they could be right next to each other the whole time. I think that would be a huge confort for them and for all of us. If anyone could suggest any carriers such as these I would appreaciate it soo much!
I also have two bunnies and they will also be traveling in the hold area. I also would like the same configuration for them so that they would know that they are right next to each other (tthey aren’t bonded and do not get along when they are put together, but they like ach other’s company when they are seperated). Please help me.

Hi there…generally, the airlines will try to keep the animals together provided if the cargo hold has the room. The crates cannot be locked together because cargo space doesn’t allow for this as easy as it sounds. You can ask the air carrier you will be flying what they can do to accommodate your request.
