Question by Odetta Fujimura: Has anyone actually found any of the ‘poison’ pet food on their shelf at home? Any sick…?
…pets?
After sending out over 60 emails when the warning came out, I haven’t found one person with the matching codes on any of their pouch or canned pet foods. I heard 24 pets are known dead from kidney failure so far. Many others are in for treatment for symptoms of the illness. We just went to the Vets office to buy ‘safe’ food. Their shelves are empty, too.
Will people be filing law suits for their loss of a pet or Vet bills? Do you just toss any tainted food or return it to the store?

My kitty was eating from a can of Iams when I heard about the scare, so i threw it out. Later, I checked the code and found out it wasn’t one of them, so I wasted the food. But, better safe than sorry. I bought some “safe” cat food (Whiskas in little plastic containers) at K-Mart, they had plenty.

What do you think? Answer below!

Meatwad on the way home from getting his nails clipped. I opened the top of his carrier so I could pet his head and he stuck it out at me!

Belarissa was left at a pet store with another kitty and plenty of toys in the carrier. She is possibly 15 years of age, very mellow personality and loves to be pet.
