Question by geminia1232: are there any safety restraints you can use in the car for pet carriers?
i was just in a car accident today. my cat was in her carrier. however, she got thrown into the front footwell of my car. i was wondering if there is any way to restrain a pet carrier so a pet wont get thrown around if you are in an accident?

you’ll have to check a pet supply store. if nothing else you can tuck the carrier in the seatbelt. there are belts and harness and even little boxes that fit inside the seat belt you can put her in.

Question by : Intelligence in my lionfish?
my lionfish is usually completely undisturbed when i walk in the room with my backpack or any other objects, but when i came back from the pet store i walked in with a brown plasic bag with feeders in it (but you could not see them through the bag) and it started going crazy and swimming toward the glass and biting at the glass… is that my lionfish being coincidentally retarded or can he actually read the pet store name on the bag?

We got her from the pet store, she was already pregnant and just had seven stillborns about two nights ago. She won’t eat or drink anything, and sleeps all the time. We held her up to her water bottle, and she drank, but she won’t eat if we bring that to her. I keep her in my sweatshirt pouch so she can sleep, but so I can keep an eye on her. Should I be worried?

I might be getting a dog from my relatives in another country, I’ll be going there actually, and I want to bring a dog/puppy back with me. What does it mean for a dog/puppy to be quarentined? And can i bring if it has shots? How expensive will it be? What if I bring a pet carrier?
I know there are homeless pets in the USA, but atleast I’ll be saving a dog instead of going to a backyard breeder or a pet store!! And they have different breeds there!

Quarantine requirements and duration depend on the country you’re bringing the dog from, and the country you’re bringing the dog to. Quarantine means the dog is kept at a facility in a cage for the duration of the quarantine, to ensure the dog isn’t diseased. Cost depends on duration.
