Question by E: Where can I get cheaper crates?
I have a crate for my one dog (he came with one) but I got a new puppy now and I’m using someone else’s crate but I’d really like to get one of my own. Does anybody know where the best place is to get a crate for cheaper? I’m interested in the wire crates as well as the pet taxi.

Also, where is the cheapest/good quality place to get pet supplies in general. thanks.

Check out your local craigslist.org, I recently picked up a 36″ crate for $ 25. Most crates are listed under “Pets”.

Question by Blarp: GOOD quality dog backpack? Where can i get one? 10 points!?
So i got my aussie pup (10 months) a dog backpack to wear when we go hiking from gordmans the brand was “eddie buauer for pets”, I read reviews of ones from petco and petsmart and they all said they were junk and fell apart so when i saw this one at dillars i grabbed it thinking it may be good… it broke after only 45 minutes!

Anyone know where i can find/buy a GOOD quality dog backpack that can stand a good hike and romp?

Please only those who use/have one. I dont want any guesses about what “might” be good or “looks” good. I want ones that are PROVEN good by someone who has used it.

oh and id pre fer one that stays ballened, i have to readjust it ever once in a while because it started slipping to one side… grrr annoying!

i use dog back packs i bought mine from ebay from a e shop called south coast pet supplies in the uk they make backpacks for all sized dogs and they are really good quality. mine are black with silver reflective bones and they cost me £18 each.
the other place i know of that supplies them is a company called zooplus.com

I have a cocker-spaniel sized Eskie and I do not have a carrier big enough for him. Any sites that I can go to for used pet supplies? I don’t have 60 bucks to dish out on a new one.

Question by Nicole: How to stop my kitten from meowing in the pet carrier?
I know it might be a dumb question but my 10 week old male kitten will constantly meow when he’s in his pet carrier. I don’t keep him in there or anything but when I go home on the weekends I like to take him with me, and I put him in the carrier. It seems like the whole two hour drive he meows constantly, and I feel so bad, but I’m not letting him out to just roam the car while I drive. What can I do? Anyone have a solution?
