You could carry them in a pouch but just be careful because their bones are much more delicate than with the other animals you mentioned but as long as you’re careful they should be fine. Yes, you can show them, as with most small mammals there are various shows in which you can exhibit but for some of them you may need to have proof that the hamster is purebred. There are many fairs that you can show at though that you just exhibit them as a pocketpet, along with guinea pigs and other small animals.

Question by alycooper13: Are people allowed to bring small animals in a pet carrier with them on a plane?

Best answer:

Answer by American Traveler
Most airlines do allow pets as carry-ons – you’ll have to pay an additional fee to do so, and there is a limit to how many animals can be in the cabin on any given flight. Check your airline’s website or call for more information.

Question by richh73: Where can I purchase the small pet carrier boxes that you get from pet stores to transport your new pet in?
I’m going to be selling small animals and need something for the new owners to transport the pets in. I have a resale license so a wholesaler is prefered.
Yes the cardboard ones are the ones I want. I’m looking more for a company that sells them so I can buy direct. Thanks Jamie for the humane society idea, if I can’t get a direction to a company that sells them I’ll give them a call tomorrow and see what they have to say.

i know you can order them out of certain pet supply company catalogs. i dont know if pet stores sell them though…i wouldnt think so. unless you are looking for something thats not cardboard, such as a plastic vari-kennel, but that would probably get expensive. ask your local humane society, i work at one and we use cardboard carriers, maybe they can tell you were to get them, or maybe they have extras they can sell you. good luck. : ]
